The installation process

Depending on the type of vinyl you have selected for installation, the process will vary in duration. The two types of installation methods for vinyl are self-stick or glue-down. The self-stick vinyl is easier to install since the adhesive backing is already on the tiles or planks. The glue-down type will require some more work.

After installation, you’ll need to make sure your room has good ventilation. You can help ensure good air flow by opening up windows, turning on fans and taking other steps to air the room out for about 48 to 72 hours. Then, it’s up to you to care for and maintain your new vinyl floor.

Why choose Vic's Carpet & Flooring?

Vic Raasch started the company in 1967 when he opened his first flooring showroom in a small building in downtown Oconomowoc. Vic had spent a number of years installing flooring with his two older brothers before he decided to open up his own business and control his own destiny. As the business continued to grow over the years, so did the product offerings and the size of the showroom. Kevin Raasch (Vic's son) officially joined the family business in 2001 after graduating college. Vic's Carpet & Flooring has been in its current location since 2006 and has a 7,000 sq. ft. showroom and 5,000 sq. ft. warehouse.
